My name
is Debi Circle. I received my Master’s of Arts degree
from Denver Seminary in 2001 and have had a private practice
for 7 years, beginning in 2002. I also facilitate a group
with the WINGS Foundation, a support group for adult survivors
of childhood sexual abuse. Currently, I am in training at
the Gestalt Institute of the Rockies in Golden, CO, working
on my Gestalt certificate. My therapeutic approach is psychodynamic
which means I use and appreciate a variety of therapeutic
insights from several theorists. They include Margret Mahler,
Fritz Perls (Gestalt), Carl Rogers, and Eric Erikson and Irving
Yalom. I would be happy to elaborate on any of these and how
I appreciate their work in my therapy if you would like to
know more.
I primarily
work with women, feeling like I have a real heart and sensitivity
for women and the issues with which they struggle. I listen
carefully and with compassion, as well as offer feedback and
some psycho education. I want you to feel my office is a safe
place where you feel heard, valued, and cared about. I also
want to establish a trusting relationship with you where you
feel you can talk openly and confidentially. This has been
found to be the most important aspect to productive healing.
I
am dedicated to high quality care, to help and support you
in:
- Discovering
what you really want and how to set boundaries to make it
happen, rather than repeating painful patterns
- Stop
feeling guilty about behaviors and choices you made
- Being able
to identify what your needs are and what makes you happy,
rather than feeling guilty or overly responsible for other
people’s happiness
- Giving
yourself more grace and compassion, rather than feeling
shame about who you are, what happened to you and/or fearing
how other’s perceive you
- Understanding
why you make certain parenting choices, and develop new
parenting skills and strategies, rather than feeling like
an inadequate or “bad” parent
- Developing
a more understanding and positive voice and a feeling of
value and self worth and quiet the critical, self deprecating
voice
My fees
are $75.00 for a 60 minute session. I do offer a complimentary
45 minute session,so that I can answer any questions you
may have, you can see my office space and so we can get an
initial “feel” for each other. Occasionally, I
will work with clients on a sliding scale, but if the reduced
rate is still too high, I will provide a referral of therapists
or interns that might meet your financial situation better.
I invite
you to call me at 303-514-4732 for a free consultation.
